We work in an academic environment but we focus significant efforts on both the application and practicality of our work. Current research interests include symmetric and asymmetric algorithms, primitives and protocols for constrained environments, distributed cryptography for privacy and voting, as well as software and content protection. ABC is a synchronous stream cipher optimized for software applications. Its design offers large flexibility concerning key material usage and memory consumption.
